Nurturing new mothers.
Bringing the village home.

New mothers require just as much nurturing and nourishment as our newborn babes.

MamaCare is a health service that has been specifically developed to nurture and support the wellbeing of mothers during that precious postnatal period.

Traditionally, a community network made up of family and friends formed an essential part of women’s healthcare, both before and after the birth of a child. However, these days most of us live outside of such close-knit communities and lack the ‘village’ support that is essential during the weeks and months following the arrival of a newborn. This can be detrimental to the health and wellbeing of women, our babies and families.

MamaCare has been developed by Kathleen Murphy, an experienced clinician and fellow mother, who is passionate about the value of dedicated and continuous care for women postpartum. She wants every new mother to be nurtured and nourished just as attentively as her newborn.
